Abstract: In petroleum storage and distribution operations, the FSO (Floating Storage and Offloading) is equipped with several types of components, one of those components is SPM (Single Point Mooring) which is a floating structure. In this final project, the SPM structure design is carried out so that it can operate in accordance with the environmental conditions where the SPM is located and ensures the maximum curvature of the flexible hose in the SPM meets the standards given by the flexible hose manufacturer. In addition to SPM and flexible hoses, there are other components designed such as catenary mooring, hawser mooring, and float for flexible hoses. In the design process, SPM stability is calculated, catenary mooring configuration of the SPM, Minimum Breaking Load (MBL) of the mooring, maximum offset of the SPM, and maximum curvature of flexible hose, all of which are accompanied by an iteration process. The modeling carried out is modeling the structure of the SPM, FSO, SPM components, and environmental loads for the 100 year return period. Environmental loads consist of wave loads, wind induced current, and wind loads. Environmental load modeling is carried out to determine whether the value of effective mooring and hawser tension, SPM deviation value, and flexible hose curvature value obtained, SPM and its components can operate properly according to the environmental conditions being modeled. Based on the analysis of these values, it is found that these results meet the conditions so the SPM and its components can operate properly.
